Belkin C600 Wireless Keyboard / Mouse

Welcome back guys .   Wish you all a Happy New Year 2012 . This my first post this new year

Today we are going to look at the  Belkin C600 which is a wireless keyboard and mouse combo . In a market where you find many cheap wireless keyboards it becomes tough to choose one which can last /work for a long period and  power efficient as most wireless keyboards and mouse operate on AAA batteries.

here we have a serious competitor  in the market against Logitech  which is the   Belkin’s entry level c600 Wireless keyboard and mouse combo .

This sure be a winner for its cost and also for its features.

Mouse
Optical 1000 DPI
Low-battery indicator
3 buttons for easier control
Ergonomic design provides long-lasting comfort for hands
Plug-and-play 2.4GHz nano receiver

 Keyboard
13 multimedia hotkeys for instant access to frequently used media controls
Thin design keeps hands in a comfortable, neutral position
Low-profile keys that are responsive and quiet
Durable keys last at least 3 million strokes. as belkin claims
3-Year Limited Warranty

If you ask me the Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Works on both mac and pc
  • Fairly priced
  • Battery indicator  which indicates  when you need to replace them.
  • Comfortable mouse

Cons

  • No caps-lock indicator
  • Keyboard could have been  slightly raised. does not have adjustable legs to increase height
  • Being a nano receiver  I had some issues connecting it  to the back of my cpu which was a bit far. had to connect to the usb slot in the front.

Checkout My unboxing video below

Over all a very good entry level wireless combo.

deepesh I would for sure recommend belkin c600 when compared to dell KM632

belkin sure looks more stylish design wise and has been serving its purpose. I have been personally using this heavily for almost 18 hrs a day. thatz right 🙂
its almost 5 months and was not required to change the keyboard battery still.
mouse does eat some battery power but that too on continues use. i was required to change batteries every month. but 18 hrs a day usage you can imagine 1 month of backup is far better.

you can also checkout the Logitech K260 combo which offcourse is not a chiclet style but comfortable and works well. has a few additional keys embedded on it to launch calculater, emails, media player and few more , a little more convenient.

Thanks for the nice review of the this product.

How would you compare it with DELL’s KM632 Wireless K+M combo. I think it is also in similar lines when compared with Belkin C600. Same layout, chiclets keys.

I am yet to decide when one will be better. Here is the link for DELL’s KM632 http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=sg&l=en&s=dhs&cs=sgdhs1&sku=750-30953

Let me know your thoughts on these.

    Regards

depends on the battery you use. if you use a duracell battery , it can last upto 2 months, but again depends on your usage too. so do not use normal cheap batteries

Pros of the review: This is the only video review of the only one reasonably priced scissor switch keyboard available in Bangalore. Scissor switch keyed keyboards are also called as low profile keys. Cons of the review: you shoudl have typed in the video so that viewers would get a better idea of how the keyboard sounds like. Thanks a ton.

That’s a cool unboxing. The way it’s designed reminds me of apple’s traditional keyboard. The island style keys are great for typing.

Happy New Year to you too! Expecting lots to tech stuff in future!!! Good luck.
